Time flys when you are having fun! We all had a great time at April and Todd's on the 4th of July. We had a BBQ, water balloon volleyball, the kids swam and made super bubbles. The night before we went to the fireworks at Rigby Lake. We were able to use an empty house right next to the lake that belongs to a patient of Todd's. So we had a place to park and have our own space, it worked out very well. (also a place to go to the bathroom for the kids) the fireworks there were really great.

Well our trip to San Diego and Sea World was absolutely wonderful! We got to San Diego on Sunday morning and as soon as we got our rental car we went to see the San Diego Temple. It is beautiful and the grounds are as well. We have always wanted to see it. Monday we went to Sea World. We looked around for a while before our appointment with the dolphins. Then we got to interact/swim with the dophins. Maggie and Gracie, two bottlenose dolphins were waiting as we got into out wetsuits. We got to touch, hug, feed, give commands to, "walk" with and splash with them. It was the best experience! It was the highlight of the day. It was so fun, the best part was being with and watching the girls have so much fun. We even got Katelyn to ride Atlantis. It is a water roller coaster ride. She does NOT do roller coasters. But it is not real long or jerks you around a lot. She loved it. April and I were in the very front, Macy and Katelyn were right behind us. So April and I got pretty wet. It was a blast. We saw the Shamu Show the second day at Sea World. That was fabulous! It is so awesome to see the trainers work with and interact with the huge whales, it was amazing. We saw and did about everything else we could at Sea World. Then we went to Pacific Beach and relaxed, looked for shells, and got some sand (for my class of course). Then we went back to the hotel and got ready to go to the mall and a nice dinner. We had such a great time. Macy did a great job driving and it helped to have the navigation system we brought with us. We all needed a little vacation. I feel so grateful to have spent time with my daughters. Everything went so smooth, the flights, hotel, driving , Sea World, and the husbands were great and all who helped with the kids. We think we should make this an annual event. Enjoy the pics.

It has been a while so let me see if I can update you. It is always so busy the end of the school year. The school year went well I had a great class and I was sorry to see them go. We enjoyed each other to the very last day. It was time for a break though. We have had some really nice, warm weather, now it has been raining pretty steady for the last 2-3 weeks with a few breaks in the clouds. So it has been cooler, but the rain is kind of nice, we always need the moisture. I have a couple of 2 day classes to take this summer, I just finished one yesterday. The kids are all doing great. Macy and her family are working on putting in a yard. Maya started walking a couple of weeks ago and now she is going everywhere. April and her family are keeping up with their yard. Lily got her cast off and is getting used to using her leg again. Jake and his family came over Memorial Day weekend and we all got together and had a barbeque, rode the horse, rode the 3 and 4 wheelers, played games and had a great time being together. Katelyn is dating someone and enjoying herself . He is a golfer (Brant really likes that) and seems to be a very nice guy. She deserves it! Steve is taking a couple of online classes this summer so that is keeping him busy, like he wasn't already. The girls and I are taking a trip to San Diego for 5 days the end of July. We are going to SeaWorld and swim with the dolphins! We are also going to the beach, and see the San Diego Temple. We are very excited! The guys are being very supportive and taking care of things at home. Summers here are always so busy trying to get in all we can. Talk to you soon I hope and I hope all is well.

Hey all, hope everyone is good. We all went to Boise last weekend to see Jake and his family. Steve, Jake, and Brant went bike riding. Brant wrecked and had to have 7 stitches in his lip. Also his arm was really sore but nothing was broke. He hasn't ridden very much, and Steve felt really bad. But it could have been much worse. Other than that it was good. Todd had a class that day. We hung out with the kids, and then we all went over to the park and flew a kite, and played. It is a wonderful park next to their house with lots of toys and exploration areas. We tried to get pictures of all the kids, that was fun and interesting. When one would stop crying, another one would start, and the rest got tired of waiting. We got a few I will share. We also went to the Boise temple grounds and walked around, Katelyn had never been to it. It was so much fun to have everyone together. Family is what it is all about. So our Spring break was more of a winter break except for Boise. We are all back at it. Katelyn got hair extensions today, they look good.

Just a little update. Katelyn and I went to Utah last Friday looking for housing. She had been accepted to UVU for the Fall. It was a long day but very productive. We had a good time.
I am looking forward to Spring break, which starts tomorrow and goes for a week. We will go to Boise, but I am not sure when. April's and Macy's families are both going to go to see Jake at the end of the month, so we may go then too. We love to visit Jake's family and we usually have some dental work done. Of course Steve and Jake manage to get a bike ride in also. It is always warmer in Boise, they can almost ride year round. In fact Steve went over last weekend, I think he should just buy a second dirt bike and leave it there! We are excited that the weather is finally getting warmer and there are all those wonderful signs of Spring. We are really enjoying our new dog, Bella. After Max died I kept looking for another outside dog, a buddy for Steve on the farm. I kept checking the animal shelter, I wanted to rescue a dog the next time I got a dog.
Well I wasn't looking for any particular breed and I saw this female St. Bernard. Long story short, she won me over. She is the sweetest, nicest dog ever. We really love her and Steve and she were instant pals. Well enough for now. We are going to dinner for April's birthday.

Well thanks to Brenda and Kelly I am trying my skills at creating a Blog for our family. I do think it is a good idea. I have enjoyed the Jensen family Blog. We are all surviving the Idaho winter. We love the snow most of the time, but are looking forward to warmer weather. This last Saturday Jake and his family were here from Boise and we all got together at our house and played in the snow. We rode the snowmobiles, four-wheeler, and sleds all over, and played in the snow. The kids had so much fun (young and old). It was very sunny and a beautiful winter day. We have all been well with the usual few coughs and colds.

Jake and his family are in Boise, actually Meridian. He is in a dental practice with two other dentists. They have an office in Boise and one in Meridian. He really likes it.

April and Todd are living just outside Rigby, they moved there a year ago Dec. They really like it. Todd has his office in Rexburg.

Macy and Brant moved into their new house in Sept. '08. It is not too far from Iona. They are looking forward to putting in a yard this spring.

Katelyn is working for an Orthdontist and taking night classes. She likes it most of the time. She is so good at her job and with the patients. She keeps pretty busy and keeps her parents entertained. (like singing and dancing right now).

Steve and I are busy with work, farming and family.
